WHY WONT SINGAPORE CELEBRATE EASTER?
hate the government system and its ideas on media. why cant we be more liberal? not to the extent of the US but at least try to take a step forward. our local productions are all so similar and so boring. and our excuse? that the US has a long long history of creativity, entrepreneurialism and that Singapore is only beginning to stir? the US are not afraid to test waters, to break free from society conventions and speak their minds. none of which is allowed here in Singapore, why? blame it on our founding fathers and the government laws. also the fact that asians have more conservative values. but thankfully, the government had the foresight to fully digitize Singapore or else we would be just like malaysia or maybe even china!
in my personal opinion, Singapore has a long way to go. hopefully someone will have enough courage to stand up and put forth newer ideas and suggestions.
i am going to buy an ipod nano!
